About the Role

As the The Regional Sales Director, Enterprise, you will be responsible for closing new business opportunities for our collaborative procurement platform for the meeting and event category with qualified Fortune 500 companies in the technology, financial services and life sciences segments. This role is all about developing trusted relationships with corporate executives that have a vested interest in better managing this critical spend category – most often executives in procurement, finance, event and marketing departments within a given corporation – and developing a strong business case for Why Eved.

Fundamentally, you must be able to sell in a highly consultative manner and possess an ability to challenge the status quo. The ability to challenge and motivate corporate executives to solve a problem they have struggled to solve with legacy systems is critical to success in this role. In addition, you must be able to effectively communicate our value and how the platform can enhance and transform the way companies strategically manage this category. As the Regional Sales Director, Enterprise, you must also understand and sell the importance of the data and analytics a corporation will have as a result of automating their complex workflow. You must have a proven record of success in a highly competitive sales environment – and experience managing the entire sales cycle, from cold call to close, is a must. Finally, you must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment, react quickly to change in direction and operate day-to-day with little supervision.  

  

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sales process once prospects are qualified by the Business Develop Representative to a successful close. Responsible for maintaining a well-developed, consistent pipeline of opportunities in order to consistently hit sales goals.
  • Clearly articulate the company’s value proposition to prospects and explain features and benefits
  • Effectively uncover root cause issues to customer pain points, be able to navigate multiple stakeholders in complex, global customer organizations, and develop a trusted advisor relationship with empowered champions
  • Track all activity and opportunities daily in CRM and be accountable for accurate sales and revenue forecasts
  • Take ownership for developing new strategies and tactics to drive profitable growth
  • Maintain client satisfaction throughout the sales process; exercise strong communication skills, interpersonal intelligence and follow-up capabilities
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the competitive environment, current market and future trends to maximize new opportunities
  • With the support of the Business Development Representative, create and deliver customized technology demonstrations, presentations, needs analyses and ROI models to fit client needs
  • Create customized proposals and assist with generating, negotiating and closing new contracts
  • Upon close, support the client through the turnover process to maximize the success during implementation

Experience:

  • 5+ years experience selling complex B2B technology solutions - experience selling procure-to-pay or strategic meetings management (SMM) solutions a plus
  • Proven track record using a consultative sales approach
  • Self-starter with a successful track record in a highly competitive environment
  • History of consistently meeting or exceeding defined goals and objectives
  • Well-developed communication skills; comfortable selling via phone, WebEx and in person
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable leading product demonstrations
  • Ability to uncover needs, build value, present solutions and create a sense of urgency throughout the process 
  • Analytical, reflective thinker who can evaluate your effectiveness to maximize future results
  • Collaborative team player who is willing to wear many hats
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • High growth potential for this role and in the company
