Position Summary:

Build, execute, and debug high volume .NET performance tests against Windows Server 2012 infrastructure! Become an active member of a Systems Engineering team that loves to automate, secure, and learn about any technology it can get its hands on!

Fundamental Components:

  • Collaborate with Product Management to identify test cases to be automated for use in performance testing. 
  • Create an automated performance suite with pre-defined scenarios, transactions, and performance SLAs (Radview WebLoad). 
  • Work with the Systems Engineering team to identify and utilize telemetry data points for consumption during performance test execution (Perfmon, Splunk, AppDynamics, F5 Load Balancers). 
  • Investigate and report website performance issues that you are able to replicate (Radview WebLoad, IIS Web Farms, Microsoft SQL 2014, F5 Load Balancers, AppDyamics, Idera, Amazon CloudFront) Prototype new application performance management technology. 
  • Collaborate with developers, quality assurance, database administrators, and product management to ensure the performance issues you find are remediated.

Get trained on: 
o Radview WebLoad 
o AppDynamics
o F5 Big IP Load Balancers o Amazon CloudFront 
o Idera SQL Diagnostic Monitor 
o ThousandEyes
o PowerShell Desired State Configuration 
Work with Aetnas performance testing team for guidance on performance testing best practices

Background/Experience:
5+ years of experience load testing. 
2+ years of experience with Windows Server 2008+. 
2+ years of experience with IIS 8.0 Intermediate scripting ability (PowerShell/VBScript/Bash or other language). 
3+ years of experience with writing SQL Queries Experience writing/executing manual and automated test cases. Experience with tools web debugging proxies (Charles, Fiddler, FireBug).

Education:
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
