The Principal Solutions Consultant is an evangelist for our product and the value it drives for our clients. This person should have extensive knowledge of the application and have the ability to configure it to initiatives. Also, this individual can clearly articulate how it solves stakeholder problems and can demonstrate to large audiences in a solution selling manner with sales teams.

 

 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

  • Act in a consultative capacity with client and/or prospect staff to identify client Sales Enablement requirements that address key business challenges; clearly articulate how SAVO’s solution can meet those requirements 
  • Identify and understand key client and/or prospect technical requirements and articulate how they are addressed by SAVO 
  • Be a product expert and trusted advisor in the sales enablement space during the sales cycle including working closely with Clients, Account Executives and Consultants to present and demonstrate SAVO solutions and bring innovative solutions to life 
  • Understand the value proposition CRM and other Sales & Marketing tools. 
  • Articulate the value proposition of SAVO’s integrations with these solutions and demonstrate use case scenarios. 
  • Work with the Account Executive or partners to develop strategies for achieving sales goals and addressing client objections 
  • Work with Implementation and Account Management teams to transition new clients to the implementation and support processes 
  • Respond to customer requests for information including the completion of RFIs / RFPs 
  • Build custom SAVO demonstrations by leveraging SAVO best practices and insight into client’s business, and industry verticals. 
  • Establish credibility through knowledge of best practices in the Sales Enablement space 
  • Research and follow up on technical issues related to sales opportunities; inform, mentor and train colleagues, customers, and partners 
  • Work closely with Product Management and Product Marketing to prioritize customer enhancement requests and to plan and to contribute to future product releases 

 

Job Requirements

 

  • 7+ years pre-sales or related customer facing experience 
  • Comfort and experience presenting both functional and technical material to clients at a variety of levels including Sales & Marketing Executives, Sales, Marketing and IT 
  • Flexibility as demonstrated in ability to travel as required, to work from home, to work hours required making the team successful. Regional travel upwards of 50% 
  • Must be an excellent communicator with demonstrated ability to present technical solutions in-depth 
  • Effective live and web-based presentation skills with proficiency in PowerPoint 
  • Effective business writing skills with proficiency in Word, Adobe, and Excel 
  • Extensive professional experience, specifically in working with Sales and Marketing executives is required. 
  • Skill, aptitude and willingness to learn are required. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics or Information Technology is preferred
