Let’s get to business. Avant is looking for a new Senior Product Manager to join the Product Strategy team in Chicago. You will be responsible for leading all aspects of technical product strategy for new and existing user-facing products including internal web applications, external web applications, and native mobile applications.
You must be a strategic critical thinker that can navigate ambiguous challenges, but also a tactical manager that can get work done efficiently. You will serve as the primary liaison between the technology organization and the rest of Avant. The successful candidate will be well versed in business and technology.
- 5+ years of product management experience in one or more of the following technology areas:
- Consumer web products
- Native mobile products
- PaaS and SaaS B2B products
- 5+ years working with agile software development teams
- 3+ years managing teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in a fast-paced start-up environment
- FinTech experience
- Familiarity with web and mobile software frameworks including Node, React, Redux, Ruby on Rails, iOS, and Android, etc.
- Familiarity with Agile software management and collaboration tools like GitHub, Pivotal Tracker, HipChat, etc.
