Product Manager
Rise Interactive (http://www.riseinteractive.com), a rapidly growing full service interactive advertising agency, is looking to hire a Product manager. We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly motivated and tenacious individual who is excited about getting involved in an entrepreneurial company with an expanding Fortune 500 client base.
Summary and ScopeThe Product Manager will work closely with Digital Marketers, Engineers, Interaction Designers and other stakeholders to help define, prioritize and deploy new or improved features and functionality. They will bring an ‘own-it’ attitude to build web-based tools within Rise’s Connex platform, and will drive the associated product discovery and development activities. Additionally, this person will support Sales, Marketing and Client Service teams with product marketing and launch efforts.

- Along with the Director, Product Management, sets the vision for the product
- Works with other product managers across the product portfolio to ensure delivery and execution to the overall product vision.
- Regularly creates and grooms user stories that invent new ways to facilitate visualization and analysis of marketing data for non-technical end-users
- Works closely with digital marketing professionals and account representatives to identify business priorities and reviews alignment with overall product strategy
- Collaborates with and helps lead dedicated scrum team over bi-weekly sprints to deliver and support scalable product solutions
- Defines workflows for data onboarding/matching and manages key customer projects from concept to completion
- Trains users on our tools and technologies. and stays abreast of new and innovative trends in the digital marketing industry
- Defines and owns KPIs for their products that can be shared throughout the organization.
- Prepares and communicates product status/progress within Innovation team, across the entire Rise organization as well as with Executive leadership
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Required Skills
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Masters with MBA preferred
- Well versed in Agile (scrum) methods and writing user stories to express requirements
- Superior communication, presentation, and writing skills
- Must show ability to be a leader to all parties involved in the product life cycle – product, UX, technology, marketing, finance, sales
- Manage priorities against needs of product teams, sales, internal stakeholders, and clients.
- Minimum of 3-5 years working in Product Management; special consideration given to candidates with experience in highly analytical or data-oriented products
- You have experience managing technology products
- You have experience working with technical architects, developers, QA engineers and scrummasters in building and launching products
- Experience with agile methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to thrive and invent structure in a constantly evolving, amorphous start up environment
- Proven ability to ship highly complex products leading both internal and 3rd party engineers as well as cross functional teams.
