What You’ll Do:

As Product Manager, you’ll lead the continual discovery and definition of software products that solve complex clients problems. You’ll collaborate with teams across the company, helping to refine and build Uptake’s products.

Responsibilities:

  • Work intimately with the development team and designers to refine and build the products and features you define
  • Collaborate with designers and researchers to define user experiences
  • Participate in product architecture and design discussions to help improve Uptake’s ability to implement and deliver core functions to our partners
  • Track and benchmark the performance of Uptake’s platform to identify possible improvements
  • Execute Agile, Lean and Continuous Delivery best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, preferably a technical degree
  • 5 to 7 years in a software product management role
  • Experience developing web or mobile properties in a business to consumer environment
  • Experience developing and launching software or API products in a business to business environment desirable
  • Execution-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced, loosely structured environment
  • Ambitious self-starter with a passion for making technology enterprise-ready
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to make real-time autonomous decisions when conditions change, based on understanding of the user context, business objectives and client needs
  • Fluency with user-centered design, service design and collaborative execution paradigms (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

Location

We are located in River North just right off the Chicago Brown Line stop. We also provide you with a free shuttle service to/from Ogilvie and Union.
