Job description

You live to create powerful, beautiful and intuitive digital products. You get bored when you’re not challenged, and you have a burning desire to learn something new every day. You continually look for opportunities for improvement. Being comfortable makes you uncomfortable.

You have a deep passion to learn about the latest trends in digital technology, a solid awareness of the technologies used in enterprise industries today, and a technical savviness with computers and mobile devices.

You understand lean requirements gathering techniques, have experience running requirements gathering workshops with clients, and know how to ask effective, direct and insightful questions. You have a unique ability to quickly absorb complex, ambiguous concepts and rapidly organize them into structured requirements. You absorb new information like a sponge, and can effectively communicate what you’ve learned to others.

You don’t talk peoples’ ears off. Your communication style is direct and succinct. You can read people and adapt your communication style accordingly. You concisely articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, enjoy giving client presentations on technical projects, and always think before you speak.

You have a strong Agile project management background, proven experience navigating the software development lifecycle, and know how to leverage a multitude of Agile techniques such as Scrum, Kanban and XP. You are an expert at crafting a product backlog that clearly articulates the technical aspects of user requirements, and you can define well-formed acceptance criteria in your sleep.

You love project management, and are a master at taming the iron triangle. You dream about release planning, and get excited when actual sprint burndown traces ideal sprint burndown. You know which metrics to use to monitor project progress, and know how to leverage those metrics to forecast release dates and spend.

You are a natural leader. You see issues well before they happen, and take the initiative to resolve them before being asked to. You embrace the challenge of managing client expectations, are not afraid to make quick decisions, and communicate your ideas confidently.

You are passionate about perfecting your skillsets. You pursue professional development outside of work by reading Agile books and blog posts, and have always wanted to write a few articles yourself. You attend Agile conferences on the latest trends in the industry, and frequent Agile meetups to gain professional insight through a community of peers.

You will tackle all of this, and still be hungry for more. If this sounds like you, then you belong here.

As a member of Devbridge Group, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most complex challenges in the web and mobile space today.
