What are you: the chicken or the pig? We’re looking for a pig in this role! As a Product Owner you’ll need to be 110% committed to every project you work on and will be held accountable for it’s outcome.

The Product Owner will be responsible for driving strategy and execution on one of our product lines. The Product Owner will do competitive analysis and conduct market research trends and provide recommendations for current and future products. Reporting to the VP of Product, the ideal candidate should be intellectually curious and intrinsically motivated to get the job done. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing the entire product line life-cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
    Develop clear and appropriate plans to manage tasks and schedules of tasks necessary in the product development.
  • Develop high level and detailed prototypes and wireframes to communicate your ideas
  • Work with our engineering team on all having a successful user experience, this includes writing HTML, CSS, and Javascript code when necessary
  • Responsible for ensuring our copy is consistent across our entire product suite, yet optimized for individual platforms.
  • Provide feedback about the usability of our existing products and communicate ways in which issues can be resolved
  • Establish, track and report on KPIs of product performance and ensuring targets are being hit. 
  • Conduct ongoing industry research to establish and support differentiating product features and functionality. 
  • Conduct trainings for the company to enhance company wide product knowledge
  • Create product overviews and training materials for internal and external use.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of product management experience at the enterprise level
  • UI design experience working on enterprise level software
  • HTML and CSS skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferred
  • Familiar with project management methodologies in an Agile environment
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills 
  • Effective time management skills 
  • Strong and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically 
  • Experience writing for a system and an understanding of the challenges and complexities of doing so.
  • Excellent strategic insight and product judgment in a fast paced, collaborative and exciting start-up environment
