The Production Manager is responsible for optimizing merchandising content across all lines of business and channels for LivingSocial. This manager will lead maximization efforts across multiple areas of focus including but not limited to: campaign production planning, scheduling, marketing messaging and prioritization, content testing and optimization, and content strategy. The Production Manager will guide team members to leverage historical data, market trends, customer insights and key reporting tools to evaluate and optimize the overall campaign content strategy.  This role will play a lead role in providing guidance on tool and product improvements for site, mobile web and app platforms to cross-functional teams. This person will also drive the planning and strategy of the merchandising content plan across various channels (on-site merchandising, Email, Brand, CRM, Affiliates) and will liaise with key cross-functional teams to enhance consumer merchandising experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, lead and audit all design strategy for national campaigns including item level sales, promo codes, and cross channel campaigns. Including but not limited to site/email/affiliate assets, copy review, and social content

  • Coordinate distribution of all assets to ensure channel deadlines are met and campaigns launch as planned

  • DIrect and manage all vertical and cross channel merchandising teams on deal mix, asset allocation, and deal tagging responsibilities

  • Create and optimize all site widgets including homepage widgets, subnavs, and mobile collection cards to drive CTR on site

  • Act as Merchandising Project management liaison for all new pilot initiatives

  • Develop and lead strategies to optimize social, editorial, PR, merchant marketing, and SEO for all large scale national campaigns

  • Work heavily with consumer experience product teams to manage site and product testing in order to improve conversion and deliver a best in class customer experience

  • Lead cross-functional efforts for all national campaigns in order to create a highly merchandised cohesive campaign

  • Create all landing pages and gift shops to create an optimal customer experience including enhanced navigation and intuitive deal categorization

  • Drive on-site optimization of the asset allocation process and socialize the value of  various levers in Groupon’s merchandising/marketing toolbox

Professional Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of relevant business experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent required

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams in a matrix environment

  • Experience managing creative development at scale, preferably in an ecommerce environment

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Tableau

  • Familiarity with key business metrics – solid analytical expertise. Knowledge of campaign testing strategies utilized in direct online channels (email, mobile notifications, social) preferred

  • Proven problem solving skills; systematic, analytical thinker

  • Highly flexible, ability to handle changing directions/priorities and roles as business needs evolve

  • Strong organizational and management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects and objectives
