Program Manager, Field Strategy

The successful candidate will have an ability to gather business and field insights and leverage analytics to develop and execute actionable strategies to help Pampered Chef’s independent sales consultants drive results. He/she must have a desire for continuous learning and improvement and demonstrate enthusiasm as it relates to helping transform Pampered Chef. The desired candidate will have strong business acumen, allowing him/her to solve business problems using quantitative and qualitative methods. This position reports to the Senior Director, Field Strategy. More specifically, this role entails the following
- Develop, execute and own the strategy for a specific segment of Pampered Chef independent sales consultants (e.g., Top Performers, Field Leaders, New Consultants).
- Deeply engage with the segment to understand motivations, needs, skills, capabilities, challenges and opportunities along with the ‘whys’ behind these.
- Understand, assess and develop the programs, training and tools needed to drive segment performance, including financial objectives, retention and recruitment.
- Partner with Field Strategy team to develop recognition and incentive programs that align to the segment’s motivation needs while meeting ROI goals.
- Leverage a ‘test and learn’ project management approach for strategic initiatives to develop, pilot, measure, refine and scale efforts.
- Work collaboratively with the Consultant Advocacy, Channel Marketing and Finance teams on cross-functional segment initiatives.
- Develop competitive intelligence in other companies consultant career plan, incentives, rewards, training & development and consultant retention programs.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or economics is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing, sales, strategy or management consulting or analytical role required.
- Experience within a sales and/or customer service environment preferred.
- Experience working with an independent agent or direct sales channel preferred.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing sales effectiveness strategies.
- Gather and leverage data to make decisions and drive growth using analytics and testing methodologies.
- Strategic and innovative thinker.
- Ability to influence cross functional teams to accomplish objectives.
- Strong leadership and general business management skills are essential.
- Strong interpersonal and oral presentation skills as well as the demonstrated ability to communicate difficult, highly confidential and sensitive issues with courtesy and tact.
- Approximately 10-20% travel required.
