We are looking for a Programmatic Media Trader to join our integrated agency team on a Fortune 500 Education client.  The Programmatic Media Trader is responsible for designing, launching, and managing campaigns using demand-side platforms to deliver positive outcomes for our client.  An ideal Programmatic Media Trader is a self-starter, numbers-oriented, analytical thinker who is able to creatively leverage data to drive results and achieve client goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

Campaign Management & Optimization

  • Implement and manage day-to-day programmatic buys across multiple channels (PC, mobile, tablet) and campaigns.  Includes, but not limited to, setting bid strategies, performance monitoring, identifying and implementing optimizations (by target audience, content, geographic area, etc), providing proactive recommendations and program insights.
  • Deliver actionable audience and optimization-based insights at agreed-upon cadence.
  • Work closely with account team to provide insights and recommendations that align with, or enhance, client strategy/business goals
  • Understand client performance objectives and KPIs, develop successful programmatic strategies to meet, or exceed, them


Program Development, Testing & Innovation

  • Develop and deepen relationships with data, inventory, and platform vendors
  • Maintain on-going knowledge of media buying platforms updates, and stay up-to-date on all industry trends and new technology.
  • Keep daily tabs on industry trends and serve as a subject matter expert both internally and with the client
  • Develop and implement testing plans that align with client goals and objectives and ensure an on-going testing schedule and drive innovation.


Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Account team to understand goals, address client needs, and communicate results and insights.
  • Work with Business Analytics team to facilitate reporting and ad hoc analysis.
  • Work with internal Operations and Marketing Technology teams to design and implement new programmatic capabilities.

 

Qualifications:

The Programmatic Media Trader must have solid understanding of the programmatic buying landscape and have hands-on experience building and optimizing campaigns for large scale clients. We are looking for someone who is comfortable thinking strategically and analyzing performance in a continually evolving, dynamic environment.  Leapfrog Online is a growing company, and to feel at home here, you need to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be self-motivated and a proactive problem-solver.

  • Expert knowledge of digital programmatic buying with hands-on experience using demand-side platforms for large scale clients for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Working knowledge of the holistic digital landscape:  video, audio, display, social, programmatic, paid search and marketing analytics
  • Working knowledge/experience in setting bid strategies across RTB and PMP (private and preferred) inventory
  • Proven technical and analytical aptitude, with a curiosity for testing and innovation
  • Effective communicator and collaborator; experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in Excel, with demonstrated ability to organize and consolidate multiple data sources for analysis
  • Ability to self-manage, juggle multiple priorities, and pay strong attention to details
  • Proactive mindset and the ability to meet multiple objectives in a fast moving, entrepreneurial environment
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • BA/BS required.
