As a Programs Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing business processes in order to gain a complete understanding of current procedures, identify improvements, documents, and processes, and act as an advocate for the business and a liaison between business and technical teams. The Program Analyst I works under general direction of managers and senior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the creation and maintenance of long term program goals
  • Independently plans, organizes, directs and coordinates activities to accomplish assigned goals and objectives that support Programs team initiatives
  • Initiates/directs efforts needed to support enhancements and initiatives
  • Establishes and maintains liaisons with other key departments
  • Act as an interface between business units, marketing teams, and sales teams
  • Work with business stakeholders to define operational and program objectives
  • Build trusting, collaborative relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including marketing staff and sales teams
  • Provide reference material for clients and program team members by writing and maintaining program documentation
  • Maintain an attitude of commitment and responsibility by understanding the needs of internal and external customers
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Program Analyst I team members

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline, or at least five years of experience working on complex projects/programs across multiple regions and/or lines of businesses
  • At least three years’ experience in a client-facing role and working in cross-functional teams towards common goals
  • Excellent knowledge of project management techniques and tools (e.g. Waterfall, Agile) 
  • Previous experience in software; excellent knowledge of the full development life cycle is a plus 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; must be able to distill critical data and help to identify required actions based on indicative results 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills for technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Proficient at developing business process design (Process flows, diagrams, etc.) 
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
