We work with municipalities, agencies, and utilities to integrate their business processes and citizen interactions onto a central, cloud-based platform accessible through multiple channels, including web, mobile, kiosk, and point-of-sale.

What we’re looking for:

We have an opportunity for a talented Project Manager to join our team to help us wow the next generation of CityBase clients. As a member of our Implementation team, you are a stickler for details and are driven to ensure your projects are delivered as planned, on time and on budget. The ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented, positive, intuitive, and possesses a passion for people as well as technology.

You are responsible for delivering an efficient, collaborative and positive implementation experience for CityBase clients, our client’s vendors, our channel partners, and multiple internal teams. In addition to client implementation work, the Project Manager may be asked to manage internal projects, coordinating activities between multiple departments.

This position reports to the Director of Project Management and is based out of the CityBase Chicago office, with an estimated 25 percent travel as needed to client sites.
Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a project schedule.
• Serve as the main point of contact internally & externally for each implementation
• Clearly communicate and document timelines & deliverables to client & internal teams
• Provide high-quality customer support & quick responsiveness during project implementations
• Provide consultative, project management and subject matter expertise to customers
• Keep all implementation constituents informed of project status
• Ensure all solution deliverables are delivered on time and on target and implementation projects conclude successfully with high customer satisfaction and product adoption
• Identify risks and challenges for each project implementation
• Manage multiple concurrent projects in various stages of the implementation lifecycle.
• Assist in developing new processes and procedures to improve overall team efficacy
• Maintaining a high level of energy and enthusiasm through each implementation to keep clients engaged.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams

Qualifications:

• 2 - 5 years of Project Management or Implementation Management experience in an Agile environment
• Must have software experience (SaaS experience preferred, but not required)
• Ability to manage customer relationships effectively
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-moving environment using our Project Management tools and methodologies
• Communicate issues and status in a clear and timely manner
• Work effectively independently as well as in a team environment
• Keep colleagues and customers informed via clear communication
• Ability to interpret, define, and execute on customer requests
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Desire to be a part of a fast paced, innovative, and rapidly growing startup
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; PMP Certification a plus
