Position Summary: TheQuality Assurance Analyst works with our Product Management team to test newproduct features and troubleshoot product issues prior to release.
Fundamental Components:
· Execute system release testing in DEV, QA, and PROD environments inall supported browsers.
· Participate in technical specification reviews in order to fullyunderstand new system functionality.
· Conduct automated testing of core product functionality.
· Create test case scenarios and test plans for productfunctionality based upon product specifications and implemented functionality.
· Communicate testing results to the Product Management and ProductDevelopment teams.
· Liaise with other business groups including Client Services,Sales, Marketing and Software Development to assist with product questions andissues.
· Assist in the triage, investigation and resolution of productissues.
Background/Experience:
· Bachelor's degree
· Technical background, with experience in QA testing
· Excellent teamwork skills
· Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fluid, fast-pacedenvironment.
· Attention to detail
· Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships successfullyin a cross-functional team environment that is critical for this position
· Solid written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to translate technical terms into plain English
· Proficient with Microsoft Excel
Preferred:
· Experience with the bswift system and/ or health care and benefitsadmin industry strongly preferred.
· Experience in health care & benefits admin industry
· Microsoft Test Manager
