Job Description

The QA Analyst III will be responsible for providing QA support for GoHealth products.  The QA Analyst will create and execute test strategies, plans, and manual and automation tests in a a web-based environment. 


Responsibilities

  • Create and implement test cases for products in fast-paced Agile software development environments
  • Execute manual and automated test scripts
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of testable products to assist in determination of severity of the issues found and communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Help determine the root cause of issues, resolve testing issues, and drive issues to closure
  • Work as a strong, agile, team-player in a deadline focused environment
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and successfully execute meetings with business and technology teams
  • Improve the status-quo and maintain a high level of self-motivation
Qualifications
  • B.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or other related field (equivalent hands on experience in IT field is acceptable)
  • In-depth understanding of QA processes, approaches, manual and automation methodologies, and software development life cycle, with the ability to apply this knowledge to daily operation
  • Exposure to test automation tools (Selenium, QTP, Rational tools, Silk Test, or other open source tools)
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum of Kanban
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing development environment
  • Highly skilled in browser tools, server logs and SQL, using them to identify issue root causes or performing advanced level testing activities
  • Leads by example (adheres and implements quality best practices)
  • Ability to see "big picture" impact of quality beyond testing
