Our Quality Assurance Engineers are an integral part of the GrubHub Holdings Inc. technology team. As a QA Engineer you will ensure that the functionality that makes its way from developers' computers and into the wild meets the high expectations of both our stakeholders and our customers. Quality is something that impacts every aspect of the technology team's daily duties and so you will be helping keep that to a high standard no matter what the task. Testing is of course one aspect of that, but it's also so much more.

Our Quality Assurance Engineers are an integral part of the GrubHub Holdings Inc. technology team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This won't be a simple case of executing test plans that have been predefined for you. You will be involved at all appropriate levels of the development process. You'll turn functional requirements into test cases, help identify what systems can be potentially impacted by a release, generate test plans, augment/modify pre-existing test cases and plans as well as execute those test plans and provide detailed feedback to the development team in the form of bug reports.

- You're going to be talking to all kinds of folks. Developers, project managers, business analysts, marketers, customer service, operations. If that scares you either embrace it or click for the next job description.
- Help contribute to the company's internal knowledge base. It's a work in progress but it's getting bigger every day.
- Aid in the development of test automation practices. We've got applications deployed across a number of different technologies and platforms, and anything we can do to offset the burden of manual testing with automated regression tests will only help us move faster while keeping the team lean.
- Experience using Agile, Scrum, and Quality Assurance processes and methodologies
- Experience creating test cases that include both happy path and all manner of edge cases
- 5+ years developing test automation frameworks. Java and Python preferred
- Recent hands-on experience with front end test automation tools and libraries, like Selenium, TestNG, Junit, and others
- Strong knowledge of Linux
- Working knowledge of cloud computing and relational databases
