 StratEx Partners handles HR and Payroll services for small to mid-sized companies. Depending on the package or service selected by the client, benefit administration and COBRA administration may be services chosen. The Quality Assurance Specialist is a vital part of the product team.  They take pride in the quality of the software and of the software rollout.  They are fans of agile and are processed oriented.  They enjoy a fast-paced learning environment and crave accountability.

 

Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, enhance and maintain automation tests and framework libraries to verify the functionality and reliability of our software
  • Quality control testing on development items and software releases
  • Proactively identify new automation processes/tools/approaches to improve overall testing strategy
  • Work closely with Product and Dev teams during all phases of software development
  • Comprehend eStratEx functionality
  • Contribute to documentation and specification creation for eStratEx development tasks
  • Assist Business Analysts on special projects

Job Competencies include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with various teams
  • Ability to troubleshoot quickly and accurately
  • Willingness to learn and solve complex problems
  • Understanding of Agile Development
  • Computer literacy required in all Microsoft Products

 Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience of QA testing in web applications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on project demands

Physical Requirements/Work Environment: 

  • Must be able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time while working
  • Must be able to proficiently operate a computer and desk phone as means of communication with colleagues and clients
  • Must be able to clearly present material to groups of people either in person or via electronic means of communication
