The Role

As the Regional Director, you will be responsible for developing and closing new business in a multi-state region. You will foster meaningful relationships with prospective clients (via direct and partner channel sales) that would result in successful sales, profit, and other financial objectives. Additionally, we are looking for applicants who align with Edovo’s core mission and vision.

Reporting Relationships

As Regional Director, you will report to VP of Business Development.

Responsibilities
  • Full pipeline ownership and advancement. You will progress sales while meeting contract, revenue, and activity targets.

  • Attendance of trade shows, conferences, and applicable sites which may be directly tied to potential new business.

  • You will relay industry and customer insights (market, products and opportunities) to VP of Business Development and Executive Leadership.

  • You will provide full support and collaboration on partnerships, public bids (RFPs, RFIs, etc) and any sales related requests from internal or external partners.

  • You will lead any sales conversations, as well as strategy associated with successful pipeline progression.

  • Collaborative engagement with other company employees, ensuring full support and insight.

  • You will develop effective relationships with customers based on empathy and trust.

  • You will execute on all company guidelines, directives, and standards.

  • Cultivate an environment among sales colleagues that is motivating, challenging, collaborative, and rewarding.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Demonstrated track record of sales progression and growth, as well delivering profitable business partnerships. Experience selling to state and local government a plus.

  • Strong advocacy and core values, with a focus on empathy for those directly affected by incarceration.

  • Proven ability to develop relationships with multiple partners, as well negotiate with customer.

  • Strong capabilities of understanding market issues/customer needs, and is able to create/develop best solution within the range

  • Strong customer service, problem solving, technical, communication, presentation, and teamwork skills required.

  • Curiosity about and aptitude for technology and correctional space.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple customers/priorities. Proven analytical, strategic, and planning capability.

  • Ability to work independently, but in a collaborative team environment.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

  • Advanced skill and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge and expertise in Salesforce.com or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform a plus.

  • Experience in/knowledge of the corrections (jail and prison) or broader criminal justice industry a plus, but not required.

  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
