The Regional Vice President of Sales must generate revenue within SAVO by closing sales. This person will sell products and services directly to end users, primarily via face-to-face contact. Duties also include a high level of travel.
Target location is East Coast; NYC, DC, Boston. Candidates must have ability to work remotely at home office.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee the primary activities of field sales representatives to maximize sales revenues and attain corporate objectives.
- Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue streams accurately.
- Identify, develop, and implement effective sales plans and strategies.
- Develop specific revenue plans for sales teams as needed to ensure growth in all products/services targeted by the organization.
- Handle personnel activities of staff (i.e., hire, train, reward, motivate, discipline, terminate, performance reviews, and pay discussions).
- Serve as escalation point for issues beyond team authority; resolve team conflicts as necessary.
- Perform sales activities for an assigned geographic area or product/service line to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives.
- Develop sales plans, strategies, and final presentations designed to enhance revenue growth and meet customer needs.
- Maintain regular contact with Account Executive and Account Managers.
- Remain knowledgeable of organization's products/services to facilitate sales efforts.
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs and how to best utilize the organization's products and services to achieve their intended outcome.
- Regular and predictable attendance required
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Advanced degree desirable
- Seven to ten years of related experience
- Strong knowledge of MS Suite & Salesforce.com
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage remote sales force
- High level of travel
