Job Description

R&D Project Managers will work to improve existing diagnostic products and develop new ones. You'll monitor the accuracy of our systems and processes, create and test hypothesis for improving outcomes, and work with Engineering and Product teams prototype and implement new functionality in our production systems. We're looking for someone with a multidisciplinary skill set ranging from project management and data analysis to prototyping and user research. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for solving complex problems. You're able to communicate on a technical level with engineers, on a product level with designers, and on a strategic level with company management and stakeholders. When necessary, you're able to roll up your sleeves and dig into the data, code, and design. Most importantly, you are very excited to join our small but growing team and take on whatever comes up on a given day to get the job done.

What You'll Need

  • 2+ years of product or project management experience
  • A data-driven mindset and experience with decision analysis tools and methods
  • Experience with user testing, user research, and study design
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
  • Self-starter that loves to identify new ideas and take action
  • The ability to work locally from our Chicago office
What You'll Do
  • Monitor prescription outcomes present regular 
  • Build and maintain project plans, schedules, and take ownership of R&D projects
  • Work on a cross-functional team that will often involve engineers, designers, and executives.
  • Help to define new online diagnostic products

Bonus If You Have It 
  • A background in computer science or engineering
  • Experience with SQL, R, Stata, or other statistical analysis tools
  • Experience working at start-ups, healthcare, or optical products
