G2 Crowd is seeking a Research Specialist who understands the importance of data and has the writing chops to convert that data into insightful, interesting content that our audiences of software and service buyers, as well as vendors will want to read and share.
Our site has millions of data points on thousands of products and the industry as a whole. The Research Specialist is tasked with turning these real-time insights into compelling posts and reports while supporting efforts to attract and encourage new user contributions.
We’re looking for a self-motivated individual with exceptional writing skills and an analytical eye to help us tell meaningful, data-driven stories and share insights and trends in interesting ways. Some of the projects you’ll be working on include:
- Researching software products, service providers, and industries
- Writing in-depth reports, SEO-driven web copy and compelling blog posts
- Maintaining product and category data to support quality content production
- Collaborating with the rest of the G2 Crowd team to develop and deliver new content offerings
- You ideally have experience in a B2B services industry
- You have a bachelor degree
- You are a fast learner who can work independently
- You have a willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what needs to be done
- You have excellent project management and organizational skills
- You have a proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- 1-2 years of professional experience a plus
- SEO experience a plus
