SPINS, a Chicago-based SaaS company, is seeking a Retailer Business Development Representative to add to the Retail Services team.

WHAT DO WE NEED?

The SPINS Retail Services team's mission is to transform the future of grocery retailer through SPINS' proprietary intelligence platforms, digital consumer engagement solutions, and consulting services.

The Retail Business Development Representative has a unique combination of hunting capabilities, to efficiently engage and sell new retailers, as well as a personalized consulting mindset, to contextually communicate the value SPINS can offer each new retailer in the way that would be most transformative to their business. While this is a sales role, it requires creativity and strategic thinking to continuously refine how SPINS can expand it's intelligence offerings to more retailers month over month. 

This will require a candidate with previous sales experience establishing leads, tracking a pipeline and status of prospects, and having been successful at bringing large quantities of contracts to close. Experience in market research, consumer products, retail operations or consulting as well as business intelligence platforms and reporting will be essential components to success in this role. 

This position will report to the VP of Retail Sales and is located in our River North, Chicago Headquarters.
