We are looking for a motivated individual to join our growing Risk Department. This is a brand new role to Akuna which allows the position the ability to make a direct impact by taking ownership of risk limit setting, reporting and monitoring at Akuna. What you’ll do as a Risk Analyst at Akuna:

• Own setting, testing and monitoring of internal, exchange and third party trading system and positional limits
• Develop a procedural process in order to amend any of the above
• Involvement in the build-out of risk reporting and risk limit dashboard
• Work with Developers to create a risk reporting system to be distributed and used by all major business functions within Akuna

Qualities that make great candidates:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with an analytical concentration
• 3+ years of professional experience in a financial or trading environment
• Basic options and financial product knowledge
• Basic Python or SQL programming skills is a plus
• Independent thinker, motivated with great attention to detail
