Risk and Operations Analyst
The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for leading our risk and performance management operations within the Groupon Goods Marketplace team. Oversight of this area will cover all aspects of risk identification, performance monitoring, reporting, analysis, process improvement, and project management.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain key operational reporting and streamline ad-hoc reporting
Continuously evaluate merchant platform for risk factors and develop strategies to manage them
Partner with operations, vendor management, merchandising, risk, and product teams to develop, modify, and implement risk management programs
Execute daily/weekly/monthly performance and risk screening of merchant base
Provide weekly KPI updates to senior management
Provide reporting and operational support to adjacent operational areas as needed to improve merchant performance
Develop, implement, and drive action plans to move key performance indicators towards goals
Requirements:
3-5 years in business operations or business intelligence
Bachelor's Degree
Advanced knowledge of Excel preferred
Familiarity with creating Tableau dashboards highly preferred, but not required
Strong familiarity with SQL to build reporting/run analyses is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management, as well as the business and technical communities.
Demonstrated ability to be productive and make decisions with a high level of discretion with minimal supervision. Must be results oriented and able to move forward without complete information
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be comfortable with changing requirements and priorities. Must be able to proactively communicate status and identify risks
