We are looking for an energetic, persistent go-getter with significant prior sales experience.

You will have primary responsibility for outbound sales outreach for ManageBac in the Americas region. ManageBac is the world’s leading software provider to International Baccalaureate world schools.

Faria was founded in 2006 to transition schools off paper onto a Curriculum First learning platform, which acts as the core repository of a school’s curriculum and academic records, including attendance, assessment, coursework, exams and activities management.

Today, we serve over 2,300 international schools and over 600,000 students, including 4 in 5 IB Diploma students, in 120 countries with a distributed global team. Our graduating student cohort equals ~12% of all inbound international students attending university in the US, UK, Australia and Canada.

Our service commitment to schools encompasses global 24-hour telephone & e-mail support Monday through Friday with weekend coverage for the Middle East, over 600 annual on-site visits, and hosting annual user group conferences in each region. Our annualised churn rate of less than 1% together with a sustained compound annual ARR growth rate of over 60% since 2012 best reflects this enduring service commitment and our record of product development.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

  • Ability to manage high-stress situations and troubleshoot challenging problems
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly & execute quickly
  • Attention-to-detail and satisfaction from a job well-done
  • Native English speaker
  • Candidate who can work in our Chicago office

What will you learn in the first 30 days?

  • How ManageBac is structured to support International Baccalaureate schools
  • Our standard outbound sales procedures
  • Our internal workflows for ensuring smooth, efficient sales followup

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting school visits & demonstrations with interested schools in your region, and moving them to Trial
  • Qualifying new signups
  • Attending regional conferences and providing presentations
  • Working with the marketing team to follow up on recurring ManageBac marketing campaigns

This position requires over 30% travel.

Benefits

  • $3,000~4,000 USD / month, negotiable
  • Eligible for a sales incentive bonus for each year based on reaching certain ARR targets
