Sales and Accounts Manager

In the middle of another record growth year, we’re in the fortunate position of struggling to keep up with the frequency and demand of inbound requests. As a result, we aren’t as proactive as we’d like in seeking out partnerships and contracts with other organizations we admire. We have no interest in leaving these opportunities on the table and aim to increase our efficiency in reaching our full potential.

So we’re throwin’ up the Bat-Signal to add another Sales and Account Manager to our team with a focus on building trusted, authentic relationships with potential and currently contracted clients. As an adviser and liaison between teams, the Sales and Account Manager is responsible for helping clients engage effectively with our people and process, while providing insights to inform product decisions.

In this role you will put the health of relationships and projects over performance targets, because you know that doing right by others to create shared success is the key to your own.


What will you be doing?

  • Help establish an organized approach for outbound sales.

  • Engage a subset of inbound opportunities.

  • Help us define and elevate our business development process.

  • Bring your own unique approach, personality, and ideas to the table.

  • Define target customer types and rules of engagement for each.

  • Create real value for our customers.

  • Champion exceptional customer experience and authentic relationships.

  • Identify ways we can consistently delight our customers.

  • Be an ambassador for our company and culture at industry events and meetups.

  • Train daily on the Ping Pong table. Foosball players need not apply.


Qualifications

  • A track record with relevant experience, references, and results.

  • Familiarity with agile and iterative workflows. Mobile, SaaS experience is a plus.

  • Show a passion for something; be an outspoken and active leader in your field - blogging, speaking, sharing your experiences and process.

  • Bring your own cape, utility belt, lasso, whatever super power you have at your disposal.

  • A compatible philosophy and set of values.

  • Talent for customer relationship management, communication, and conflict resolution.

  • Based in Chicagoland
