NowSecure is looking for a talented, energetic and driven individual to join our Sales team as a Sales Development Representative. This highly visible position will provide lead development support to the North American sales organization through the development of qualified leads that result in closed-won business. The number one goal of the SDR is to provide qualified leads to the Sales team.

You will be responsible for processing inbound sales inquiries and identify opportunities that meet the minimum qualification criteria for Sales. The Sales Development Representative will build rapport with contacts through phone calls and emails in an effort to understand where the prospect is in the buying cycle. This position will work closely with the regional sales team to insure that the leads provided to sales are qualified correctly, and progressing through the sales funnel. This involves gathering key information to update the SFDC and assigning next steps for sales or marketing nurture paths. The individual will be required to work with a very high throughput of leads and data flow.

The Sales Development Representative will also support a variety of sales/marketing programs by managing call campaigns to drive registration and attendance for events, sometimes coordinating with external partners and the marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Performs outbound sales activities such as cold calling, lead follow-up, and opportunity qualifications in a specified territory. Average 80 activities a day.

  • Meets or exceeds activity metrics for outbound calls, appointments set, opportunities added and prospecting time.

  • Research accounts to understand need, enable effective follow up, and generate interest.

  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections.

  • Provide opportunities to the sales team, work close with each rep as necessary about the opportunity.

  • Builds relationships and effectively communicates with territory sales team and management.

  • Proactively look for opportunities to improve, optimize outbound lead management.

Job Requirements:

  • 1-3+ years telephone experience with value based selling skills

  • Strong verbal selling skills over the phone and email

  • College Degree or equivalent

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Professional, determined, and results oriented

  • Positive attitude, team oriented, and a self-starter

  • Ability to accurately determine lead qualifications based upon established criteria

  • Ability to learn key software applications

Must work out of our Oak Park HQ just outside Chicago and right off the Green Line.
