The Sales Development Representative is responsible for identifying sales opportunities for LearnCore's sales organization.There is a comprehensive career path laid out for the right candidate that is willing to learn and work toward's the organizations goals. Previous sales experience will give you a head start, but is not a requirement. We are looking for someone that embodies the 3 C's: Coachable, Competitive and Curious. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Identify and Prospect target Companies and Personas through multiple channels: Primarily LinkedIn
  • Work with Account Executive team to develop a strategic plan for meeting the appointment and revenue targets for the territory
  • Understand the full scope of products and services that LearnCore offers
  • Speak with prospective buyer personas through Cold Calling, Emailing and LinkedIn messaging.
  • Qualify leads and appointments based on criteria provided by LearnCore.
  • Manage all data and activity through Salesforce.com

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • "Thick skin" as there is no room for taking "NO" personally in this position
  • Ability to be creative, resourceful and autonomous in a start-up environment
  • Must have discipline to dedicate hours each day on the phone
  • Excellent interpersonal skills- necessary for communicating via phone with a variety of clients
  • Ability to multi-task, showcase attention to detail, as well as, prioritize deadlines- eliminate the opportunity for items to "slip through the cracks"
  • Desire to achieve and exceed sales goals- self starting attitude is critical
  • Possess a teamwork mentality- all hands on deck is necessary when driving company success

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 0-3 years experience in a B2B business development or inside sales "hunting role"
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Cold Calling & Cold Emailing experience
  • Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce preferred) is a plus
