Sales Engineer
Reverb.com is looking for a Sales Engineer to serve as the primary technical resource for the outreach team and to act as an evangelist for our API and integrations. He or she will identify opportunities with affiliates and shops, explain possible solutions and act as the go-to person through implementation and support.
Responsibilities:
- Identify potential affiliates ranging in size from large companies to small sites and shops.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations to prospective affiliates and internal teams.
- Craft custom solutions depending on affiliates’ needs and Reverb’s product capabilities.
- Help craft technical documentation and liaise between external affiliates, internal sales and development teams.
- Report on business development/sales activity, affiliate initiatives and product requirements.
Qualifications:
- Solution-based sales experience in a technical environment.
- Proven track record in identifying and landing new target business.
- Self-motivated with a comfortable understanding of integration technologies like REST APIs, embeddable widgets, and apps. Technical training will be provided.
- Comfortable working in a high-growth technology company with a rapidly expanding client base.
- Demonstrate technical literacy in basic html/css to help guide clients with widget integrations.
- E-commerce experience (Magento, Shopify, Bigcommerce, etc) strongly preferred.
- API experience is a major plus.
- Musicians with gear knowledge preferred.
