Sales - Sales Development Representative (SDR) at PowerPost

PowerPost is looking for a high-energy, full time sales representative to help drive revenue for our unique content marketing software. This front line role is part of PowerPost's Business Development team with significant opportunity for advancement.

Business Development Role:

  • Engage with prospective customers via phone, email, social selling and other channels to understand their business challenges and identify opportunities for PowerPost to solve such challenges
  • Leverage social media to engage businesses and determine if there’s a fit between their needs and the PowerPost software 
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing contacts using creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest
  • Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending emails, strategic calling)
  • Conduct high level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts
  • Provide presentations and general support to prospective customers
  • Exceed monthly goals of qualified opportunities, quality contacts and daily activities
  • Manage and track customer interaction and transactional information in a CRM system (Salesforce.com)

Qualifications:

  • 3 - 5 years of B2B SaaS business development experience. Enterprise companies big plus.
  • Tenacious self-starter. You tirelessly promote our solutions every day.
  • Evangelist. Highly driven individual with a strong sense of urgency and a belief in the PowerPost mission.
  • Team Player. You understand early-stage. You understand the need to work as a team for everyone to be successful. You know there are never enough resources and every day presents a challenge. You thrive on “building it yourself” and the satisfaction it brings.
  • Excellent Communicator - You know what to say and more importantly, how and when to say it.
  • Bachelor’s degree
