Responsibilities:

  • Penetrate and set appointments with qualified prospects at target accounts
  • Support the sales process for the assigned selling team from prospecting through close
  • Participate as an active and engaged team member in internal team, dept., and company meetings (be smart and be thoughtful, but don’t be shy…)
  • Partner with Marketing team to help organize and manage outreach campaigns using sales force automation (SFA) tools such as Salesforce.com and Marketo
  • Manage the creation of proposals both in response to RFPs as well as sans-RFP
  • Seek out opportunities for education and training both directly provided by SIM Partners and through own ongoing research to stay on top of current industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Work with Sales team members to improve effectiveness within assigned team
Qualifications:
  • Curious: First and foremost, you must be interested in how things work as well as be excited by change and innovation. Local search is an always on and highly dynamic industry that is continually impacted by the activities of technology giants such as Apple, Facebook, Google, and Microsoft.
  • Organized: Must have ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks under aggressive timeframes.
  • Independent & Proactive: Must be self-reliant and able to manage own projects
  • Collaborative: Must enjoy working in a team environment
  • Proven experience within the role: Sales, Account Management, and Team Leadership/General Management. Relevant experience within other digital marketing, marketing technology, and/or local marketing is ideal.
  • Tech-Savvy: Must be adept with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as SFA and CRM applications such as Salesforce.com and Marketo. Also, need to have a basic understanding of how digital marketing, search marketing, and websites work and ability to absorb new concepts.

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of professional experience, ideal candidate will have experience from a SaaS marketing technology company and/or with Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), or Local SEO
  • At least 1 year of experience in a sales or sales support role ideally focused on net new business, but managing and expanding existing accounts will be considered
  • Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent additional career experience)
  • Healthcare is highly preferred, someone who understand the healthcare ecosystem and knows who the top players are and isn't shy asking questions around healthcare
