SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Salesforce administrator to help us stabilize and standardize the platform. The successful candidate will have 2-3 years experience as a Salesforce administrator. The role requires someone that can wear multiple hats comfortably – administering day to day user support; training new and existing users; partnering with engineering on technical specifications; and providing reports and dashboards.


You should be an engaging, collaborative person who loves technology and is motivated by the challenge of establishing Salesforce as a critical enterprise platform. You will have proven experience administering Salesforce within a small to medium-sized organization. You operate with a sense of urgency but will demonstrate patience with colleagues who are (re)learning Salesforce. You are an champion for standardization, who is comfortable working with colleagues at all levels.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Daily administration and support of Salesforce database including managing multiple user setup, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validations;

·         Working with management, strategic planning & analysis staff and end-users to create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation, and triggers;

·         Develop and create customized reports and dashboards;

·         Create and document application requirements by working together with those involved in the development of program enhancements and changes;

·         Manage the software testing process, which includes devising test plans, creating test cases, establishing  protocols and coordinating actual software testing;

·         Keeping abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality and providing recommendations for process improvements;

·         Train new and existing users on how to use database applications;

·         Keep application users informed about system functionality and enhancements;

·         Provide application users with technical support;

·         Logging and tracking identified system problems through resolution;

·         Creating and maintaining documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users as database applications are developed;

 

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:

You will not directly manager people, however you will be working across multiple departments. The Salesforce Administrator will need to ensure discipline and accountability across the organization for users of Salesforce.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

●      Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and training

●      2-3 years experience administering Salesforce, including Service Cloud

●      Proven success in improving organizational discipline and rigor in utilization of Salesforce platform

●      Strong collaborator and able to influence stakeholders at every organizational level

●      Experience training users on Salesforce functionality and maintenance, especially colleagues from customer service and sales departments

●      Extremely high attention to detail

●      Ability to work independently and prioritize time across multiple projects

●      Preferred – Certified in Salesforce Administration

●      Preferred – Experience/working knowledge of relational databases and data integration tools
