The Salesforce Developer oversees the configuration, custom development, and support of a cloud-based, packaged CRM software application. He/she is responsible for writing custom apex code, making configuration changes, creating reports and handling support issues.  This individual is responsible for working with technical and functional teams to solicit needs, determine feasibility, and implement configuration changes.  

Responsibilities:

-Daily administration and support of Salesforce CRM system including managing user setup, roles and security, customization of objects, fields, record types, and page layouts

-Development of triggers, custom objects, workflows, Visualforce pages, and other development using Apex code.

-Develop and create customized reports and dashboards within Salesforce CRM

-Act as primary liaison with Salesforce and Salesforce partners

-Monitor interfaces to integrated systems ensuring that all systems are operating as designed

-Create and document application requirements by working together with functional team leaders

-Manage the software testing process, which includes devising test plans, creating test cases, establishing protocols and appropriate testing environments and coordinating actual software testing

-Maintain current knowledge of Salesforce features and functionality, providing recommendations for improvements

-Keep Salesforce users informed about system functionality and enhancements

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

-2+ years of Salesforce development and administration experience; Salesforce certification preferred

-Understanding of relational databases and systems integration

-Experience with programming languages such as Apex, Java, SQL, JavaScript, HTML

-Excellent communication and analytical skills

-Close attention to detail

-Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects

-Works on projects/issues that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments

-Strong leadership and team work skills required.

-Ability to work with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment

-Ability to travel as necessary
