THE ROLE 
As a School Account Executive, you will be part of the engine behind our sales to schools and districts across the world. Your responsibilities will include:

● Fielding inbound school license inquiries, answering any questions people have about our offerings. 
● Following up with prospective customers and conducting demos to close deals. 
● Maintaining the data in our CRM to ensure we always up-to-date information. 
● Working with the sales team on developing creative and effective outreach campaigns to source new leads. 
● Collaborating with the School Success team to ensure we close on annual renewals with existing customers.

Prior experience in school sales is certainly helpful, but not necessary. Here is what we care about the most:

● Tenacity and persistence. You do not give up easily and feel comfortable with rejection. You believe that superior effort will win in the long run and are excited to roll up your sleeves to do some heavy lifting. 
● Exceptional communication skills. You have a natural ability to listen and empathize to understand another person’s position. You clearly structure your thoughts and have mastery over spoken and written rhetorical skills to maximize the impact of your communications. 
● Composure under pressure. You do not get rattled easily, can quickly assess a situation and identify what is important. Given the information you have, which will often be incomplete, you are able to take decisive action and adapt as needed. 
● Work ethic. You are always pushing the envelope. When you reach a goal, you set a higher goal next time, not because you are told to but because you want to constantly challenge yourself. You hold yourself accountable and keep your work organized.
