 The Gig:

We are building a high performing inside sales engine, staffed by an amazing team, fueled by a passion to win. We are looking for a talented sales executive to help bring our next generation of products to market. We are looking for candidates with the right mix of entrepreneurial selling and technical savvy that have experience in selling enterprise solutions. The Account Executive will work closely with Client Success, Marketing, Engineering and Product teams to bring collaborative solutions to the marketplace. This position reports to the VP of Global Sales.

The Work:
  • Entrepreneurial: Persio is looking for a proactive self-starter with the energy and drive to make us the leader in the space.
  • Experience: Candidate has demonstrated the ability to proactively sell, build a book of business, understand new technologies and bring them to market.
  • Strategic: Candidate brings strategic insights to the team and clients and is a consultative seller with strong marketplace knowledge.
  • Collaborative: Enjoys working in a team, sharing in others success and collaborating on solutions.
  • Adaptable: Candidate has demonstrated the ability to quickly and proficiently understand and absorb new information and communicate it to the marketplace – a quick learner.
  • Integrity: Does what is right, not just what is politically expedient. Earns trust and maintains confidence.
  • Planning & Forecasting: Is able to effectively manage time, plan business and qualify clients and pipeline.
Requirements:
  • Ideal candidate has 3+ years of digital, mobile or social technology sales. SaaS or enterprise sales experience is a plus
  • Track record of regularly exceeding targets of $10,000 MRR and $1.5 Million+ ARR.
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment
  • Bachelors degree
  • Must have a track record of proactively prospecting and building a new book business
  • Comfortable learning new products and a proven track record effectively communicating them to the marketplace
  • Retail brand experience a plus
  • Interest and ability to write thought leadership content around retail trends, marketing automation technology and use of analytics for campaign optimization
  • Proficient at using social media such as Linked In, Twitter and Facebook for company and brand promotio
  • Position is located in Chicago, IL
