 We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our integrated agency team on a Fortune 500 Education client. The Senior Account Manager is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute innovative digital response marketing programs that deliver outcomes for our client across paid search and paid social. A successful Senior Account Manager is a proactive and enthusiastic ‘multi-tasker’ with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and an ability to grow relationships internally and externally.

Responsibilities: 

Client Management
  • Owner of day-to-day communication and relationship with the client; lead client status calls including weekly client performance reporting and meeting agendas.
  • Proactively identify ways to address client business challenges, probing to gather necessary business context and leveraging internal resources to bring forward solutions.
  • Remain current on competitive landscape; identify opportunities and threats and make program recommendations accordingly.

Business Management
  • Understand client goals and objectives and the ability to articulate to broader organization
  • Ensure alignment of strategy across marketing journey from media through to site experience
  • Development of client presentations and proposals in collaboration with cross-functional teams including data mining, data presentations (charts, graphs, etc.), competitor research, and providing insights to inform and educate the client.
  • Owns daily performance review and collaboration with media and business analytics to discuss results, implications and identification of next steps.
  • Monitor weekly budgets and goals and partner with internal teams to adjust program efforts to achieve these goals.

Project Management
  • Drive day-to-day executional internal leadership against prioritized projects and activities, ensuring establishment of and alignment back to overall business objectives and strategies.
  • Alignment of internal client teams to deliver against initiatives supporting client marketing goals; maintaining attention to detail and high quality of work.
  • Review digital media plan to ensure supports client business goals and strategies
  • Ensure best practices are being applied across the client business

Qualifications:

The Senior Account Manager must have a solid understanding of the online consumer marketplace and response-driven tactics. We are looking for someone who is comfortable thinking strategically and analyzing performance in a continually evolving, dynamic environment. You must be able to build relationships with not only our clients, but internally as well. Leapfrog is a growing company, and to feel at home here, you need to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be self-motivated and a proactive problem solver.

  • 5-7+ year’s relevant experience in digital marketing. Digital agency experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge of paid search and paid social media, direct response websites and marketing analytics
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven relationship building skills and client interaction experience
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams: media, analytics, creative,
  • Proactive mindset and ability to meet multiple objectives in a fast moving, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience and comfort in managing and evaluating client program performance
  • Exposure to using various sources of market and customer data and how that data is used to develop marketing strategies
  • Exhibit effective independent thinking and management skills
  • BA required (Marketing Preferred)
