Responsibilities
* General - anything and everything accounting/finance related needs at a start-up
* US payroll
* Monthly customer billings and postings to accrued and deferred revenue
* Cash receipt AR applications
* Employee expense report review
* Lending compliance preparation
* Assistance with HR items
* Significant involvement in annual audit process
* Assist with month end activities such as posting bank and credit card transactions, creating monthly journal entries, among others.
* Process vendor AP invoices
* Prepare and file sales and use tax return
Skills & Requirements
* Proficiency in Excel
* Detail oriented and organized
* CPA or in process of being certified
* Self-starter that can work independently
* Passion for working in a start-up environment
* Goal oriented and results driven
* Experience with the assessment and improvement of processes

* 1-2 years of prior experience in audit or similar type role
* Experience using a comprehensive accounting system (desired)
* Experience of Salesforce (desired)
* Prior experience at a start-up (not required)
