ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Analyst contributes to Trunk Club’s marketing success by identifying actionable marketing opportunities through analysis and reporting for our key stakeholders. This person will utilize innovative analytic and statistic based approaches to optimize marketing efforts to further support business decisions in a fast-paced, data-focused retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work with marketing and cross-functional partners to assess business needs and provide data driven recommendations for various initiatives
  • Communicate findings of analysis on large quantities of quant & qual data including site traffic and behavior trends, acquisition profitability trends, promotional campaigns, email and other key marketing channel and operational metrics
  • Design and automate concise KPI reports and/or dashboards that track marketing effectiveness and ROI
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing tactics, strategies and techniques
  • Prepare and present value-added analytical reports to department and/or senior management

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in marketing data analysis
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong storyteller with confident delivery of marketing findings
  • Proficiency in analytical tools and/or programming (Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau)
  • Comfortable synthesizing response data and making sound, actionable recommendations
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels such as Facebook, SEM and Display
  • Expertise in Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel required
  • Experience with Tableau and AppsFlyer a plus
  • BA/BS college degree or equivalent
