We are looking for a detail oriented Sr. Analyst, Digital Analytics to assist in growing and supporting the website, products and advertising clients. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key influencer to our organization and provide data and insights at key junctures and uncovering unknown problems. The Analyst will play a key role in delivering new reporting, analysis and solutions that anticipate the growing needs of the business. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of different reporting and analytics tools and the ability to tell stories using a variety of data points and methods. This is a collaborative position that involves sharing approaches, materials and best practices within a centralized team of analysts.

Responsibilities:

  • Compile data across various sources, both internal and external, for special and ad-hoc analysis using advanced analytics tools and methods
  • Analyze, synthesize and effectively communicate results to a wide range of audiences
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports for key stakeholders with defined key metrics to track effectiveness
  • Lead cross-functional projects as a Subject Matter Expert, coach and mentor more junior team members
  • Support internal team or business initiatives
  • Contribute to a culture of digital creativity and customer-focus in the marketing department and beyond
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities by leveraging a high level of business acumen, ability to stand alone and make decisions independently
 
Required Skills
 
  • Ability to organize and analyze large varied sets of data
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex information in an easily digestible manner to a broad audience
  • Superb project and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail in all work and documentation
  • Must be positive, tactful, organized and a team player
  • Curious and creative with an aptitude for problem solving
  • Ability to drive results through ambiguity and adapt quickly when priorities & goals shift
  • Active listener with the ability to ask the right questions
 
Required Experience
 
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4-6 years in a position dealing with data, reporting, and analysis
  • Intermediate ability with Web Analytics Tools such as Adobe, Google Analytics, Webtrends, etc.
  • Advanced ability with Business Intelligence Tools such as Business Objects, Tableau or like technology
  • Advanced experience with SQL
  • Fundamental understanding of Programming Languages: R, Python or like technology
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, advanced Excel
  • Marketing Researching Tools: Kantar, eMarketer, ComScore
  • Familiarity with agile/lean product development process
  • Automotive, B2B advertising experience a plus
  • Client-facing experience
  • Experience with marketing attribution systems or manual techniques for analyzing the impact of multiple touch points is highly desired 
  • Experience in the vendor vetting, selection and implementation process a plus
