Responsibilities:

-          Work closely with the product team to build advanced, high quality mobile software.

-          Participate in the technical design, implementation and testing for releases.

-          Anticipate business needs and propose efficient technology solutions to requirements

-          Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.

-          Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability.

-          Provide estimates to project management

-          Oversee architecture of app and ensure best practices are followed

-          Coach and mentor team members

Qualifications:

-          BS in Computer Science or related engineering disciplines

-          8+ years experience in software development

-          Proven track record of developing high quality, high-performance, and scalable software in a SOA-based environment

-          Expert in Java and the Android SDK

-          Have published one or more Android apps to Google Play.

-          Experience consuming RESTful web services

-          Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs

-          Demonstrated understanding of network protocols

-          Proven experience with multithreaded programming

-          Interest in the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies
