closerlook's Senior Business Analyst (IT) works with members of the Software Development, Quality Assurance, User Experience, and Project Management teams to help create innovative, high-quality web applications, advanced reports and CRM campaigns for our clients in the pharmaceutical industry.  This is a heavily data-centric role and requires SQL proficiency.  The Business Analyst authors technical and business documentation to support client goals and assist the closerlook team in following internal SDLC processes.  We are seeking a Business Analyst who can work independently or with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.  This requires high proficiency in IT requirements documentation and experience with custom web applications based on Microsoft technologies. 

Requirements:

• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Deep experience working with, and interest in, data from disparate sources
• Full SDLC experience in an environment producing custom web applications—MS Windows server operating systems, IIS Web Server, .Net, SQL Server
• SQL proficiency, T-SQL preferred
• ETL experience
• Strong skills in IT requirements documentation including both narrative and visual formats utilizing MS Word and MS Visio
• Highly proficient in MS Office
• Works well with others in a team environment  
• Works independently and is able to effectively multi-task on an ongoing basis
• Requirements elicitation/JAD facilitation experience
• Four year degree
• Strong English language skills

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience working with responsively designed websites and emails
• Experience working with SSIS and/or SSRS
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology marketing
• Experience with Google Analytics, Webtrends or similar
