Rise Interactive (http://www.riseinteractive.com), a rapidly growing full service interactive agency is looking for a talented Senior Copywriter & Content Strategist  to join our emerging Creative & Content Marketing team. This individual will service a variety of Rise’s clients, B2B and B2C, in multiple industry verticals.

The Senior Copywriter & Content Strategist will collaborate with Creative, SEO, Social Media, Digital Strategy, Analytics, and other teams to conceptualize and develop compelling and engaging content marketing strategies and materials. This role reports to the Associate Manager, Content Marketing.

We are looking for a candidate with strong written communication skills and an innovative approach to content creation across a variety of media and channels. The Senior Copywriter & Content Strategist will be responsible for researching, creating, writing, managing, and executing copy and content strategies that will grow clients’ brand awareness and engagement.

As Rise Interactive’s Senior Copywriter & Content Strategist, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Work as part of an integrated team—creative, social media, digital strategists, account executives, SEO analysts, and more—to understand client goals, glean meaningful insights, and develop effective integrated marketing strategies, concepts, and content across all marketing channels
  • Work with individuals at all levels across the company and in the industry, including interfacing and occasionally presenting to internal and client stakeholders
  • Develop strategies, concepts, and content for a wide variety of projects, including but not limited to social media, email, display advertising, webpage copy, white papers, case studies, sales presentations, and video scripts
    • Determine the most effective media and design to meet the goals and objectives of each project
    • Comprehend brand and marketing data and transform it into selling messages that resonate with target audiences
    • Understand personas of clients’ target audiences and align content to each point in the customer journey
    • Conduct research as needed to create compelling content
    • Update existing content to deliver even greater value
    • Write in numerous brand tones and voices, ensuring all messaging and copy is within brand voice and editorial guidelines
  • Manage project plans and deadlines

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, creative writing, communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in an agency environment; digital marketing experience preferred
  • Strong storytelling ability and excellent communication skills
  • Experience with content marketing syndication methods and strategies, including SEO, social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram), email, and native advertising
  • Familiarity with B2B & B2C copywriting
  • Portfolio illustrating the ability to develop integrated campaigns with engaging copy and content; digital portfolio preferred
  • Organized, collaborative, service oriented
  • Detail-oriented is a must
  • Thrives in fast-paced environment, adaptable to change, undaunted by deadlines
  • Positive “can do” attitude
  • Self-starter with a sense of urgency to bring projects to closure in a timely manner
