Responsibilities:

Campaign Management & Optimization

• Own creation and execution of digital advertising efforts with a particular focus on Search and Paid Social advertising
• Monitor conversion tracking to ensure consistent advertising presence & accurate reporting
• Implement and manage day-to-day media buys, including performance monitoring, and identifying and implementing optimizations
• Deliver actionable audience and optimization-based insights at agreed-upon cadence
• Work closely with account team to provide insights and recommendations that align with, or enhance, client strategy
• Understand client performance objectives, develop paid media strategies to meet, or exceed, them

Program Development, Testing & Innovation

• Construct testing plan and execute on-going tests within advertising channels to assess targeting, bidding & content strategies; optimize ads based on results
• Work cross-functionally within the organization to ensure user experience throughout the purchase funnel is aiding conversion
• Keep daily tabs on industry trends and serve as a subject matter expert both internally and with the client

Cross Functional Collaboration

• Work with Account team to understand goals, address client needs, and communicate results and insights.
• Work with Business Analytics team to facilitate reporting and ad hoc analysis.
• Work with internal Operations and Marketing Technology teams to design and implement new media capabilities.

Qualifications:

The Sr. Digital Media Specialist must have solid understanding of the paid social media landscape, and have hands-on experience building and optimizing social media and paid search campaigns. • 3+ years of experience working in a digital marketing capacity with 1+ year executing high-volume search or paid social advertising campaigns
• Experience managing a large paid media budget
• Familiarity with digital advertising tools & platforms preferred (Facebook Power Editor, AdEspresso, Hootsuite, AdWords, or similar)
• Working knowledge of the holistic digital landscape: video, audio, programmatic, paid search and marketing analytics
• Proven technical and analytical aptitude, with a curiosity for testing and innovation
• Effective communicator and collaborator; experience working with cross-functional teams
• Proactive mindset and the ability to meet multiple objectives in a fast moving, entrepreneurial environment
• Creative thinker with analytical mindset to support insights with data
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and quality
