JOB DESCRIPTION
GoHealth, a trusted and approved health insurance exchange by Obama’s administration, is looking for an experienced performance driven offline marketing expert to build, grow and own our offline consumer acquisition channel.
This position requires hands-on knowledge of best practices in direct mail, TV and radio, and a proven track-record of delivering qualified traffic from both an acquisition and conversion standpoint in a performance driven environment. The ideal candidate understands the fundamental ingredients that go into executing a successful direct response campaign – analyze data to measure value and develop insights that help allocate spend across and within marketing channels.
Additional responsibilities will include: Develop and execute marketing plans that work across multiple channels which may include TV, radio, direct mail, and others. Work with and manage direct response advertising agencies. Negotiate and buy DR media space on national, regional, and/or local markets. Manage all aspects for the creation and production of creative.
Responsibilities:
- Lead direct response marketing programs (including Direct Mail, Radio, TV, and others) from start to finish including alignment of objectives, marketing brief development, creative and asset management, lists and segmentation, test design, driving program execution, DM tools and process management, and post-program analysis & ROI reporting
- Provide leadership and oversee staff, vendor relationships, goals and budgets for a fully-integrated, multi-channel Direct Response Marketing programs
- Provides oversight and recommends strategic and tactical plans for direct response programs, processes and new initiatives
- Effectively manage and reconcile budgets and accurate forecasting of spend, consumer acquisition targets, and revenue on ongoing basis
- Negotiate top-level pricing and buy Direct Response media space on national, regional and local markets
- Manage and optimize marketing spend across direct mail and offline marketing channels
- Develop measurable test strategies across relevant channels
- Analyze campaign results to identify actionable opportunities and improve performance
- Report on campaign performance including new consumer acquisitions, brand awareness and interaction with online campaigns
- Work with analytics team to track results and improve market share, brand attributes, and campaign results over time
- Work with operations team to define segments to maximize consumer experience and marketing investment
- Identify and manage outside agencies and consultants to meet expected project objectives and hold them accountable to agreed upon standards; provide oversight of critical agency relationships
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of direct response marketing experience in multiple channels (including radio, direct mail, TV, others)
- Experience working with budgets and managing campaign expenses
- Strong understanding of direct marketing creative development and direct response optimization and operations
- Demonstrated ability to work closely across other channels and functions for maximum impact (digital advertising, affiliates, SEM, website, legal, finance)
- Has extensive media contacts
- Knowledge of brand integration with direct response media
- Highly organized individual with a strong analytical aptitude and able to think creatively
- Effective project manager comfortable juggling competing priorities
- A disciplined problem solver who can think both strategically and creatively coupled with a passion and a willingness to be hands-on to ensure goals are being hit
