As the Sr. Director of Product Management you will own end to end management of the product lifecycle from concept to phasing out of the product(s). The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of successful product managment experience for a software product (B2B or B2C), excelllent communication skills and thrives in a collaborative, fast paced, high-growth startup environment. This position will report directly to the Chief Product Owner.

Responsibilities:

  • End to end management of the product lifecycle from concept to phasing out of the product(s).
  • Be an advocate for the customer, keeping their interests in mind at all times.
  • Manage and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Be an expert in the product and keep up to date with technological advances.
  • Develop and execute the product roadmap.
  • Perform business analysis with subject matter experts and customers.
  • Identification of new opportunities; product enhancements; and line extensions.
  • Development of documentation to support the approval, design, development and launch of the product.
  • Facilitate the design, development and launch of innovative products.
  • Identification, specification and prioritization of features, functionality and capabilities.
  • Development and implementation of the launch strategy.
  • Create and maintain a product backlog with epics and user stories.
  • Create product roadmaps and release plans.
  • Work with team members to produce estimates, and ensure deadlines are met.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field.  MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of successful experience in the product management field for a software product (B2B or B2C)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and direct teams in a fast paced high growth environment toward achievement of a common goal
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to interact with customers, vendors and employees
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and manage the dynamics of a complex organization
  • Ability to travel ~25%
