Senior Financial Analyst- Marketing: RXBAR is one of the fastest growing natural brands in the country and this explosive growth requires more focus on partnership with the Marketing team to develop annual operating plans and quarterly forecasts of spending for all marketing expenses (Digital, Shopper, Media, Communications, etc.). Critical responsibilities of this role include driving monthly budget reviews for Marketing, conducting variance analysis on budget-to-actuals, updating monthly forecasts, calculation of monthly accrual, and improving forecast accuracy by becoming a trusted business partner for the Marketing team.

We are looking for someone that is detail-oriented, driven, and eager to grow with our Finance team. Our ideal candidate has a strong analytical background in corporate finance, consulting or investment banking, and is excited to learn about our business and help establish new processes as we continue to build out our finance team. A self-starter that takes initiative, ownership over processes and is resourceful will excel in this role.

General Functions + Job Responsibilities:

• Partner with CMO and Marketing team leads (Digital & Social, Shopper, Communications & PR, Website, Branding) to understand actuals, budget (forecast), and OP and explain variances and communicate forecast risks and/or opportunities
• Develop standard processes with Marketing team to re-allocate and prioritize budgets throughout the year
• Partner with accounting to appropriately book marketing expenses by team to allow transparency on actual spend with Marketing team
• Be liaison between Marketing and Accounting to help ensure accurate financials
• Forecast (budget) monthly, quarterly and full year Marketing spend to calculate monthly accrual
• Analyze marketing spend with teams to understand ROI and begin creating scorecards on main initiatives
• Build environment of trust with Marketing to have full ownership of budget and become trusted partner
• Build understanding of different marketing strategies to identify opportunities for RXBAR to grow its brand and awareness
• Analyze and communicate budget vs actuals for key initiatives and vendors
• Key stakeholder for Marketing budget and lead input into Planning Model
• Lead initiatives to create and improve processes that increase visibility and accuracy using new system tools 

Skills & Qualifications:

• Positive attitude, a thirst for knowledge, and an excitement for growing our business
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
• 2 -4 years of corporate finance, accounting, or consulting experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with NetSuite a plus
• Evidence of cross functional partnership experience
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Manufacturing/consumer goods industry experience a plus
• Evidence of ‘Customer First’ values and behaviors
• Self-starter who is extremely result and detail-oriented
