Who we are:

We help connect students and educators by making personalized learning as accessible as possible. We challenge ourselves to build the best product possible, value collaboration and communication and work to keep a relaxed, casual environment. Outside of getting things done, you can expect people who present on an awesome new framework, stick around after work to socialize, or talk shop with non-engineers after our weekly all-company demo.

Who you are:

You take pride in your work and helping others learn and look for the same from everyone on your team. You have an eye for detail and love talking about that new thing you just learned or that new skill you picked up. Web technologies and all things HTTP are topics you feel comfortable talking about, and you appreciate reading, understanding and expressing yourself with code with others who do the same.

Requirements:

• Excellent grasp of JavaScript, CSS, HTML5


• Proficiency with one client-side framework (Vue, React, Angular) using REST APIs


• Proficiency with Chrome developer tools & handling common browser compatibility issues


• Experience building front-end experiences on a consumer-facing site

Optional, but awesome!

• Full-stack experience using a server-side framework


• Experience with A/B testing frameworks (Optimizely, etc)


• Mobile web development experience


• Familiarity with ES6
