Rise Interactive (http://www.riseinteractive.com), a rapidly growing full service interactive advertising agency, is looking to hire a Senior Interaction Designer to support the Creative Manager on our award-winning Creative Team. We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated and tenacious individual that is excited about getting involved in an entrepreneurial company with an expanding Fortune 500 client base.

 

Summary and Scope:

The Senior Interaction Designer will be responsible for developing, designing, refining visual elements and creative concepts for internal and external client deliverables. This will include, and not be limited to: landing pages, banner advertisements, print, infographics, motion graphics, photography, and video.

 

Under direction of the Creative Manager you will be tasked to collaborate with internal stakeholders on obtaining and scoping out deliverables per client requests and budgets. You will be independently responsible for following through on all action items, maintaining strong communication and follow up with the team, and all stakeholders. This goes without saying you’ll be ensuring all deliverables are completed in an efficient manner- on time and on budget.

 

This individual will also be able to work on creating and delivering creative assets and files across the groups with strong diligence and attention to detail. As the Senior Interactive Designer, you will be executing semi-complex web-based promotions, page layouts, wireframes, and collaborate on the development of microsites under the guidance of our Creative Manager.

 




Responsibilities:



  • Supports Company’s profitability efforts by focusing on the efficient, accurate and timely completion of the assigned creative design activities
  • Ensures accurate, consistent, and timely completion of basic to intermediate level client design deliverables within budget, meeting client expectations, objectives, and creative brief specifications
  • Participates in creative brief processes or planning meetings with clients and/or internal teams for assignments as needed
  • Act as a jack of all trades with photography, video, audio, editing, copywriting and other duties as needed
  • Contribute to the development of business processes
  • Work and collaborate with outside vendors
  • Meets quality standards at all times for all assigned deliverables and makes recommendations to Management for improvements in creative design concepts, tools, processes and/or assigned tasks
  • Support the team with user research and usability testing
  • Contributes to client presentations by working with internal creative team to develop creative working documents and finalize design layout pieces using internal and external resources
  • Developing the ability to take a job from conception to completion
  • Ensures designs are within the specifications and concepts determined by the Creative Manager
 




Required Skills:



    • 6+ years of experience in an agency or similar fast-paced, demanding environment
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design preferred or equivalent creative art background with design capabilities
    • Adobe Creative Suite applications (HTML/CSS/JS is a plus)
    • Strong sense of user-focused design for digital media
    • Ability to work well in a team environment, with a moderate degree of supervision, to handle a heavy workload, to prioritize work, and to meet assigned deadlines
    • Displays the ability to understand and work within a client’s brand guidelines
    • Able to clearly articulate your design recommendations through written, verbal and visual communication
    • Proficiency on PC & Mac
    • Broad understanding of strategic marketing, traditional media, and the digital marketing landscape including websites, immersive online experiences, display advertising, social media, mobile and more
    • Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking, acute attention to detail and self-discipline to review your own work
    • Able to meet demanding deadlines
    • Ability to accept direction
    • A healthy level of perfectionism
    • Embraces change; maintains an open mind and is flexible and adaptable in the face of ambiguity
    • Friendly with good people skills

 

We expect to see your portfolio, website/s, or samples of UX design with a description of the process you took to get to a final product. Samples of work can include sitemaps, wireframes, final designs, banner ads, social media graphics, infographics, presentations, videos, audio, animation, layouts or anything else that’s relevant.
