Role:
GreenKey Javascript Engineers apply their skills to make highly functional, complex web applications (and other stealth projects). They help GreenKey produce leading software for the financial trading industry.

GreenKey Javascript Engineers are key personnel in supporting our customers’ requirements for a secure, mission critical VoIP application architecture.

Responsibilities:
GreenKey Software Engineers develop software applications to facilitate secure, encrypted real-time voice and instant messaging using standards such as SIP, RTP, WebRTC, and XMPP. These applications are both client-side and server-side and operate in a highly available cloud deployment model. Primary technical concerns within this role are user experience, core functionality and code quality.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, Architects and backend Python & Java engineers to define and develop web application features, tools and processes.

Requirements:

Your background should be a developer who has had considerable experience in a highly complex technical operations environment, preferably cloud-based services.

• Minimum 3+ years experience creating database-backed web applications using some combination of JavaScript, Backbone.js, CoffeeScript, HTML5, Java, Python.
• BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with REST service integration.
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL a plus.
• Interest in infrastructure technologies –AWS, Docker, Ansible, REST, Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch and others
• You should have a strong interest in VoIP technologies
• Highly process oriented – Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Git, Slack
• Demonstrated experience of agile processes, continuous integration, test automation and release management.
• Exceptional communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Significant development experience in at least one modern programming and scripting language, preferably Java, Javascript and Python.
