As a Grubhub Senior Learning Solutions Associate, you create and/ or deliver on strategic learning/training solutions that align with the business' strategy, close performance gaps, and appeal to diverse learning styles and engage all participants, including remote and virtual learners. Lead initiatives for internal departments (as assigned) with creation and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures, content creation and delivery solutions. Manage entire life and scope of learning projects from inception, creation, delivery, follow up, and measurement. The SLSA will build strong collaborative partnerships with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and engage stakeholders as appropriate.
Some Challenges You’ll Tackle- The SLSA will create engaging learning activities and scalable content, which enhances retention and reduces knowledge gaps. Develop eLearning and Instructor led trainings programs for assigned departments and applications
- Work with subject matter experts to identify training needs
- Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
- Acts as an SME expert to represent their internal client in product enhances and launches, to provide a better end user experience
- Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
- Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
- Maintain documentation (wiki, course content, agendas) etc.
- Knowledge of instructional design models.
- Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System.
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
- Lead delivery and evaluation of training sessions where appropriate
- Lead and Manages departmental process in forms of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Work across teams to ensure that content is effectively deployed and represented on the SOP wiki and internal learning portal(s), and other communications as needed
- Maintain, develop, and test user training materials for instructor-led training, self-paced sessions, and online training content (including interactive tutorials and rich media educational videos)
- Work directly with internal stakeholders to gather requirements where appropriate
- Collaborate frequently with subject matter experts (SMEs) to assist with knowledge transfer and accuracy/quality of content and processes
- Deliver recurring webinar training sessions as well as in-person classroom sessions as needed
- Manage and Builds training schedule of upcoming sessions
- Design intuitive experiences that are grounded in adult learning principles and directly mapped to the learning objective
- Develop scripts and storyboards that convey complex problems through simple instructional videos and/or interactive courses
- Ensure clear, effective, engaging and scalable learner experiences
- Work cross functionally to improve GH learning experience and knowledge retention of our tools and products
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Communications or Education
- 3-5 years of experience with increasing responsibilities in Learning.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a corporate blended learning environment with many priorities and projects
- Ability to conduct training needs analysis and use tools to interpret and communicate data.
- Manage multiple priorities and projects effectively and accurately; action-oriented in task completion.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team.
- Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
- Experience communicating both verbally and in writing to various audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with learning in a Sales Environment strongly preferred
- Passionate about learning and utilizing new technologies to deliver effective training
- Critical thinker, with understanding of critical mistakes analysis. Strong writer with a critical eye for nuance, detail, and editorial principles
- Capable of analyzing and producing content through the eyes of a learner
- Knowledge of adult learning principles with the ability to apply course design techniques
- Enjoys working as part of a team in a collaborative environment
- Experience in using Adobe Captivate
- Experience with Wiki or similar application.
